Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using BackOffice, you agree to these terms. If you're accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to do so. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• You must be 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to sign up.
• One account per person, please. Workspace seats are per individual user.
• You can invite teammates; admins on a workspace control access for everyone they invite.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BackOffice to:

• Break the law, infringe rights, or harm others.
• Send spam, malware, or content that violates the rights or privacy of any person.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape at abusive volume, or attempt to bypass access controls.
• Resell the service as your own without a written reseller agreement.

4. Subscription and billing

• Plans, member limits, and overage rates are listed at our pricing section.
• Billing is monthly or annual, charged in advance via Stripe. All amounts in USD unless agreed otherwise.
• You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the workspace billing page. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
• Refunds are not given for partial periods, with the exception of statutory rights in your jurisdiction.

5. Your data

Your workspace records are yours. We process them only to operate the service. Export options are available at any time; we honour deletion requests within 30 days. Full handling is described in our privacy policy.

6. Our intellectual property

BackOffice, its logo, source code, templates, and documentation are owned by us. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for the duration of your subscription. Open-source components are governed by their own licences.

7. Service availability

We aim for >99.9% uptime. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service — networks fail, providers fail, software has bugs. We'll communicate planned maintenance and status incidents on a status page.

8. Termination

• You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice when possible.
• On termination, you have 30 days to export your data before we delete it from production systems.

9. Liability

BackOffice is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim arising from these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (country, not state). Disputes go to the competent courts of Tbilisi unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country says otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes get an email to account owners and an in-product banner; the "Last updated" date above is authoritative. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
